Frequently asked questions

What format is the cheatsheet, and how do I get it?
It’s a clean, printable PDF. After payment via Stripe you’ll be redirected to a download link immediately — no account needed. You’ll also receive a receipt by email. The download link does not expire.
Is this for YA 2025 or YA 2024? Which filing season does it cover?
This covers YA 2025 (Year of Assessment 2025), which is the income you earned in calendar year 2025. You’ll file this return in early 2026 (deadline: 30 April 2026 for residents without a business income). All 22 reliefs reflect the current figures from the YA 2025 LHDN guidelines.
I’m salaried (PCB deducted). Do I even need to file?
Yes — if your annual income exceeds RM34,000 (after EPF deduction) you are legally required to file. But more importantly, most salaried employees are over-paying tax via PCB because their employer doesn’t know about all their reliefs. Filing lets you claim a refund. The cheatsheet walks through exactly which reliefs most salaried Malaysians miss.
Can I get a refund if I’m not happy?
Digital products are delivered instantly so we generally cannot offer refunds. However, if you believe the information is materially incorrect or not as described, contact us at the email on your receipt and we’ll sort it out. We stand behind the accuracy of what’s in this guide.
